‘THE CHAOS’

A series of studio photographs, expressing a direct relation with the energy, the motion, and other inner forces through the action of dripping paints, influenced by Jackson Pollock’s technique of ‘dripping’ paints and his practice on the ‘action painting’.

I used my body as the canvas while someone dripped paints on me. The conceptual idea behind the use of my own body as the canvas and someone else becomes the artist that express him/herself on me was that ‘in order to be able, as an artist, to express myself through paints, I must first feel the energy and the motion of the paint direct on my body.’.

The final synthesis presents the chaos that we experience in our inner world during our attempt to separate our imagination with our reality into this running period, the orientation of our feelings within our past, present, and future.
